Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations to join our client’s team in Omaha, NE!
As the Vice President of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of a specific region. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, ensuring efficient service delivery, and fostering a culture of excellence. The Vice President of Operations will work closely with the COO to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement operational polies, procedures and a best practice.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the COO and executive team to develop long-term operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and innovation.
- Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and cost management.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Implement and execute on building a world-class operations team for assigned region.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop strategies to enhance client retention and attract new business.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational performance.
- Regularly review and analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present operational reports to the executive leadership team.
- Project Management:
- Oversee major projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality.
- Innovation and Technology:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Implement new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Promote a culture of innovation within the operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Equivalent work experience preferred.
- 10+ years in operational management, preferably in facility management or related industry preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
- Proficient in the use of technology and software relevant to facility management operations.
- Strong problem -solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to travel nationally as required
