Position Overview
The Medical Horizons Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating communication between clients and the Medical Horizons team. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Sales department to ensure client orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and that clients are kept informed about the status of their orders. The Customer Service Representative is a detailed and highly organized individual capable of successfully meeting deadlines.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides customer service for current clients and prospective customers
- Processes supplement orders taken via phone, fax and internet, and prepares all paperwork to hand off to shipping department for order fulfillment
- Works closely with Operations Manager and Quality to manage client accounts
- Tracks orders and follows up with customers on completed orders to ensure satisfaction
- Follows up with potential clients on product quotes
- Works closely with Sales team leading up to and following conferences, processes sample orders for sales, and assists with order fulfillment
- Provides support throughout the sales and ordering process
- Manages product, client and vendor files
- Participates in Medical Horizon’s marketing meetings and provides input on future market opportunities based on provider feedback
- Resolves all customer complaints and bring issues to Medical Horizons team for proactive resolution
- Accesses computer systems to perform daily work, including email, fulfillment system and eNutra
- Demonstrates general knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures
- Works together with all team members to promote a community of cooperation and respect
Additional Duties
- May provide backup support to Nutrascriptives Shipping Clerk
- May assist with special projects as assigned
