Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is a private radiology practice with 100+ physicians providing radiology specialty services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Illinois. We are currently recruiting a full time Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Supports and monitors CIRA's hardware and software for radiology diagnostic systems.
- Installs and supports all elements of CIRA's, and most hospital customers' radiology departmental clinical IT systems including hardware, software, and radiology workflow applications.
- Ensures a secure, stable and efficient infrastructure is maintained for the delivery of radiology diagnostics services through associated systems including, but not limited to, PACS, RIS, and radiology dictation and reporting applications.
- Provides technical and clinical support to radiologists in their use of radiology and teleradiology systems.
- Recommends, tests, implements and installs technology; resolves problems; determines system improvements and system changes.
- Improves quality by identifying, documenting, recommending and communicating resolutions for break fix issues.
- Documents and records all computer assets such as workstations, monitors, KVMs, physical servers and firewalls into an asset management system.
- Assists in the implementation and maintenance of systems, programs, hardware and software.
- Will travel, install and support physician diagnostic configurations in the United States.
Qualifications:
- One to three years IT experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in a medical practice environment a plus.
- Active Directory, Office 365 and Microsoft Intune knowledge a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer troubleshooting.
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers through written or verbal form.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Adaptable to changing criteria and situations in a flexible manner.
- Ability to travel to customer locations.
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
