Front Office Administrative Patient Care Coordinator
We are an esteemed and fast-paced medical practice in search of a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as Front Office Administrative Patient Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate should possess a keen understanding of administrative tasks. A general understanding of insurance claims and authorizations process is preferred, but not required. We seek someone who embodies qualities such as friendliness, organization, professionalism, engagement, articulate communication, and a strong work ethic.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including patient check-in/out, answering phones, and scheduling appointments
- Monitor the day’s appointment schedule to ensure on-time patient management
- Assist with processing patient and/or insurance payments
- Collaborate with various software platforms
- Assist in diverse special projects when needed by the practice
Qualifications:
- Confidence in interacting with patients and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in utilizing multiple software platforms and technology
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and capable of functioning effectively within a team
Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Experience and Compensation:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
