Assist with development and facilitation of skills stations/simulations for events such as annual competency assessment days, orientation, unit skills days and/or other educational training (e.g. TCI, ECG, NTP Clinical Days, IV Therapy Basics, CNA Clinical Days) as appropriate. Age of population served is adult to older adult. Simulation scenarios/skills are taught for adult, older adult, pediatric, NICU and neonatal patients.
Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
- Facilitates assigned clinical educational events/skills training of RNs and other clinical professionals, including running, evaluating, and debriefing clinical scenarios developed by Education Specialist.

Assists with development of skills training for RNs and other clinical professionals as needed.

Assists with processing of paperwork and completion of rubrics, evaluations and outcomes of educational events.

Assists with educational events/skills set up prior to, breakdown and clean-up after and maintenance of simulators.

Maintains technical/professional skills.

Attends required training for facilitating assigned educational events/skills stations.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Current RN license to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.

Meets contact hour requirements, including all state-required courses.
Specialized Knowledge:
-
Excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and have skill in working and collaborating as part of a team.

Knowledge of adult education principles and Instructional media.
Kind and Length of Experience:

One year experience including professional RN practice.
