JOB DESCRIPTION

McLane Global is currently seeking an Export Document Specialist to join our international team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare export documentation for ocean, air, and land shipments.

Process commercial invoice, COO, Free sale Certificate, and other country-specific documents by validating data integrity and accuracy.

Communicate with all stakeholders including sales team, warehouse and loading facilities, freight forwarders, vendors, USDA, State Department, and customers.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of export shipments.

Maintain organized and cataloged export files.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.

Ensure compliance with export laws and regulations.

Manage sample procurement, packing, and shipment via UPS/DHL.

Prepare and handle export documentation for all trade shows and marketing activities.

Support the international sales team in any other tasks assigned by the Sales Supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s or associate degree in logistics, international studies, business, or a related field is preferred.

Eager to learn with the ability to learn quickly and retain information,

Detailed oriented,
-
Strong computer skills including MS Excel and ERP like D365.

2-3 years of relevant work experience,

Strong work ethic and desire to win and grow,

Works well in a team environment, and

Will do what it takes to get the job done!
WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and move, and pack boxes.

Ability to walk to and interact with the warehouse on a regular basis.
