Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. 7:00am to 5:30pm, hours & days can vary based upon Owner/GC requirements and workload.

Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY
ESI is hiring Asphalt Milling Equipment Operators in our Colorado Springs CO. and Denver CO. Divisions.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years Asphalt Milling experience with an emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. This position will ensure and promote productivity, safety, delivery of a quality product and development of employees while protecting the company’s interest and maintaining good relationships with clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to efficiently operate on one of the following equipment or equivalent to:
- Mill CAT 855 PM
- Broce Broom
- Skid Steer – CAT 272D
- Knowledge with Mill controls such as automatics on ground
- Knows how to use slope system on machine, knows the controls at top of Mill, etc.
- Strive for excellence in every project to achieve optimal results and goals.
- Possess an ownership attitude and be willing to grow and mentor other team members.
- Recognize and communicate change of conditions to Foreman.
- At end of each shift, ensure job site is clean, flow lines are clear of debris and equipment is cleaned, greased, fueled and ready for next day shift.
- Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and cared for.
- Communicate all maintenance, breakdowns, and damages to Foreman.
· Report all accidents and damages immediately to your Foreman.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective communication within our organization.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience: 2 years’ experience in Asphalt Milling with emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. Ability to demonstrate success in operating Asphalt Milling Equipment.
Other Requirements: Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.
