We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Solar Equipment Technical Support Specialist.
Position Overview:
As a Solar Equipment Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our customers who utilize our solar energy equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, answering inquiries, coordinating manufacturer’s warranty claims, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our solar products.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and online platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
Guide customers through installation, operation, and maintenance procedures.
Document and track customer inquiries, issues, and resolutions using our CRM system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product development to address customer needs and improve product performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, product updates, and best practices in solar energy technology.
All other reasonable duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Robust understanding of solar products and system operation, renewable energy, or related field.
Proven experience in technical support or customer service, preferably in the solar energy industry.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to calmly resolve customer issues and frustrations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage customer inquiries and documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to obtain a NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate (PVA) credential within 60 days.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
