About the Role:
The role of Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and safely handling, moving, and storing materials within the warehouse. This role involves loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Material Handler works closely with other warehouse staff to support overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Move materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse.

Ensure accurate labeling and placement of materials according to inventory management procedures.

Perform inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
-
Assist in the packing and shipping of products, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Assist with the receiving and inspection of incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Key Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or equivalent education, preferred.

High School Diploma, or equivalent education, preferred.

Proven experience as a material handler, warehouse associate, or similar role.

Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
