Position Overview:
This position is classified as regular, full-time, Exempt. Typical days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, (7am to 4pm). This position could require long hours, occasional weekend work and travel within the Southwest Territory and between STS Metals Company facilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Execute sales in defined sales territory with existing and new customer targets.

Prospect and develop new sales leads through effective communication of company capabilities and product attributes.

Manage and develop relationships with customers as the key point of contact through all phases of the sales process (identify need, match product capability, negotiate and ensure positive customer experience, cash collection as necessary).

Commercial ownership of supply chain solutions that help facilitate growth and retention of key customers in the territory.

Support sales budget creation, execution and forecasting future sales for specific customer base and territory.

Effectively negotiate through communication of company value proposition, including total cost modeling and company’s differentiation on quality and reliability attributes.

Competitive analysis of activity in the region.

Post Order administrative activities, including participation in quality, service and account receivables assistance for the company.

Management of territory sales call plan for frequency and organized time management of call pattern.

Liaison between Company Operations and Customer as required.

Required Education, Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferred Business, Marketing or Engineering.

Minimum 5-7 year’s work experience in Sales, Account Management or other related fields

Aerospace industry experience highly preferred

Ability to use presentation and product skills as utilized in sales and marketing functions, including product description, statistics and analysis of customer needs.

Must have the ability to build rapport with clients and teammates

Must have strong analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills
- Strong computer skills, competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to organize, communicate, create and present quotations.

Must be deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be able to communicate, verbally and written, with managers and coworkers and proficient in reading and understanding instructions in English.

Has the ability to professionally manage unexpected situations, and the ability to cope with stressful circumstances through cordial interaction with others.

Must be able to work outside of traditional office hours as required.

Must be able and willing to travel to Customers in region and Company sites across USA including some overnight travel
