Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating computer numerical control machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, or cutting
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine the necessary adjustments to be made
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CNC machining or related field
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with tooling, hand tools, and machining techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of programming for CNC machines is a plus
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous
