Director of Roofing Sales & Operations:
The Roofing Director will oversee all aspects of the roofing division, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and continuous improvement of processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience in the roofing industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Management:
- Revenue generation including individual sales and the ability to set and meet forecasts.
- Lead and manage the roofing division, including project managers, site supervisors, and roofing crews.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roofing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Financial Management & Quality Control:
- Develop and manage the roofing division’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Prepare financial reports, track project costs, and implement cost control measures.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure superior workmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of roofing projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Safety Compliance:
- Promote a culture of safety within the roofing division.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct safety training and ensure all team members are aware of and follow safety protocols.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure the best value for the company.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge and verifiable experience required
- Extensive knowledge of roofing sales, systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
