The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for supporting the inventory management team in tracking and managing stock levels, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining optimal inventory control procedures. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, stock organization, and assisting with inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory.
- Accurately enter inventory data into the company’s inventory management system.
- Perform regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain an organized and clean inventory storage area.
- Assist in preparing and processing orders for shipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory needs are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to the Inventory Manager.
- Help implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
