**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join our educational team at a private school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in the sciences, particularly in areas such as Biochemistry, Genetics, and Cell Biology. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students of all levels and abilities. **Duties** - Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging science lessons, incorporating hands-on activities and experiments that cater to students with diverse learning styles and abilities. - Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that students achieve their full potential in the classroom and in the laboratory. - Develop and implement innovative and challenging science projects that align with the curriculum and promote student participation and interest. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive science curriculum that aligns with the school's educational philosophy and goals. - Provide individualized support to students as needed, addressing any challenges they may face and offering guidance and encouragement. - Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians. - Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and adjust lessons accordingly. **Requirements** - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry. - A Master's degree or certification in Education, particularly in Science Education, is an asset. - Strong understanding of scientific concepts, including Math and Laboratory techniques. - Experience teaching in a private school or Montessori environment. - Ability to calculate and interpret data, and apply scientific principles to real-world problems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. - Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. - A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in science education.
