Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing new revenue by engaging with our Enterprise level Transportation prospects. Achieving the assigned annual quota by driving new background screening revenue is the definition of success. The prospecting client base will be primarily focused on the “Private Carrier” segment of Transportation and is made up of the Enterprise level target companies. This position and the Sales activities are supported by our Implementation, Client Success, and Information Technology teams.
Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize extensive prospecting techniques to build and establish a self-generated pipeline. Resources such as cold calling, preferred partnerships, marketing campaigns and search platforms will be at your disposal.

Ascertain NEW client relationships exclusively.

Present, negotiate and follow all new sales through contract execution and implementation – partnering with Cisive resources to support and ensure closure and acceptable implementation expectations.

Maintain accurate records and client contact information within Salesforce.com, to ensure senior management has accessibility to pipeline/forecasting data.

Promote a professional company image through prompt, thorough and courteous prospect interactions.
Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS Degree Required.

Experienced with sales cycles longer than 6 months in length required.

Proven over-target attainment against established quotas in prior positions.
