Job Summary:
Swallowing and Speech Services is hiring. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist occupational therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients, helping them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Duties:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic activities and exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Skills:
- Experience in a variety of settings including pediatrics, clinics, geriatrics, and occupational health
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
- Ability to work collaboratively with the therapy team to provide comprehensive care
- Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to individual patient needs
