THE ORGANIZATION
Ashley Addiction Treatment Center was founded in 1983 by two visionaries who knew the treatment of drug or alcohol addiction could be designed and effectively delivered in a holistic manner that compassionately considers the whole person and not just the disease. POSITION SUMMARY
The Oak Store Associate maintains a clean, well-organized store with a customer first focus. The duties of the Oak Store Associate will include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating a cash register, stocking and managing merchandise and opening and closing of the store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide great customer service; greet and assist customers.

Follow store opening and closing procedures.

Operate cash register and scanner for customer purchases, collect payments and make change.

Follow Ashley procedures to receive, open and unpack boxes of merchandise; stock and stage merchandise and build merchandise displays.

Ensure all merchandise is presented according to established practices utilizing merchandise fixtures properly including presentation, signage and product pricing.

Practice cashier accountability, control and adherence to our standard security practices and cash control procedures.

Maintain a clean, well-organized store and stock rooms to facilitate a safe and secure working environment.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

One year or more of retail management experience preferred.

Great customer service skills.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Good organization skills with attention to detail.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
May need to work untraditional work hours such as weekends, evenings, observed holidays, and nights.
