Position Summary
The Department of Medicine and the Division of Cardiology at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine (Chicago) are seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities will include furthering the structural heart disease program, complex coronary PCI including CTO's, and/or further developing the peripheral vascular disease program at UIC and our VA affiliate.
Duties & Responsibilities

Additional duties include and are not limited to the inpatient cardiology service, a dedicated structural/peripheral ambulatory clinic and resident/fellow education. A solid background in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures is a necessary facet of the position as well. This position involves equal division of STEMI call among the interventional faculty. Ideal candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology and interventional fellowship program, preference will be given to those who have completed a dedicated 2nd interventional year with a focus on structural and/or peripheral interventions. The individual should have the clinical, scholarly, educational, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic division.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
MD/DO; BC/BE in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
