Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring clinical needs for hours are met or met to 80% (unless barriers).
- Ensuring staff as a whole are meeting their agreed upon hours weekly and ensuring that staff have enough clients, hours and adequate caseload
assignments and overseeing VA hours.
- Sending out assessments to supervisors, reviewing and tracking Treatment plans, assessments reports, and discharge requirements. The Office Administrator is responsible
for assisting.
- Ensuring everything at the clinic run smoothly
- Making sure staff needs are met clinically, emotionally, physically, and work/life balance and self-care are maintained.
- Assisting at the clinic with all staff/client/parent needs to maintain
day to day operations
- Scheduling check ins as needed for morale and self-care/work productivity and overseeing and coordinating with the Supervision Coordinator and Regional Coordinator on duties, tasks, and operations.
- Interviewing and staff onboarding (BCBAs and Final RBT interviews) and overseeing interviewing and hiring operation and workflows
- Oversee and assist Office administrator to ensure proper Employee Onboarding for all new hires
- Interviewing staff for available positions and completing any follow ups and oversee regional coordinator, training/supervision coordinator, management personnel, and other staff in
interviewing New hires.
- Oversee and assist Office administrator to ensure that staff was inputted into Central Reach and making an employee profile
- Ensure all required documentation to onboard staff such as tax documentation, direct deposits, consents etc. and sent to ED
- Overseeing and assisting the Training/Supervision coordinator with putting new
staff through the RBT process such as providing links to the RBT website the gateway ensuring that they get their competency assessments completed
- Overseeing and assisting with ensuring staff get the renewal of their RBT and completing their renewal assessment
- Performance evaluations at 1 year minimum and send final copies to ED.
- Present in performance evaluations with BCBAs for both states.
- Conducting 90 day goal setting meetings for staff and overseeing VA staff 90 day goal setting
- Support Helianthus with company marketing, outreach and events
- Overseeing and assisting with event planning and coordination with Management and Leadership.
- Meetings to debrief with ED and center staff as needed.
- Overseeing and implementation of school/outreach trainings/workshops/consults
- Help facilitate with Trainer/Supervision Coordinator to conducting trainings for the clinic and
whole company as needed/required for team and
company success
- Providing CEUs for the company and other required trainings for certifications which you are qualified
- Ensure all resources and materials for all trainings and overseeing the success of the training and supervision department
- Assist with providing supervision for RBTs and other staff and oversee supervisors and supervision department staff.
- Help facilitate monthly group supervisions as needed for Trainer/Supervision Coordinator
- Overall management of center, NC and VA locations, company operations, office amin,
clinical staff, leadership and direct level staff, making sure staff are performing to best of their ability, client needs are met, ensure center open/close has coverage, and day to day operations
are smooth.
- Uplifting and creating positive safe welcoming space for staff.
- Making sure any workplace negativity is addressed and reduced per policy and reported to ED when written warning is given.
- Making sure staff are creating a positive safe space for clients.
- Any duties and responsibilities beyond these responsibilities and duties that have been agreed upon by both parties of this agreement.
- Providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to HPBS clients and their families (also considered the “client”).
- Working directly with clients on your caseload providing quality individualized ABA services.
- Conduct evidence-based assessments to include insurance required assessments.
- Provide behavior analytic interpretations of results and data to treatment team members, caregivers and other significant persons.
- Design individualized behavior analytic interventions and methods to include Behavior Support Plans, Skill Acquisition Treatment plans, programming, progress notes, session notes, behavior protocols, and insurance documents using HPBS resources.
- Teaching and training others to carry out ethical and effective behavior interventions.
- Supervise BCaBAs, RBTs and other treatment support staff in accordance with BACB guidelines and case necessity. BCaBA’s and RBT’s MUST also be supervised by BCBA in accordance with BACB guidelines.
- Attend team meetings as necessary to include meetings with the other supervisors and/or contracted staff members.
- Providing consistent participation in implementing Behavior Support Plan, skill acquisition plan, programming and recommended strategies as written.
- Collect and review HPBS client data to assist in monitoring progress on a routine basis using HPBS resources.
- Evaluate and review supervised staff performance, provide effective feedback to include written feedback and report to ED on a routine basis using HPBS resources.
- Communicate with team members any identified issues with any case related protocols, interventions or plans in order to find a resolution.
- Communicate with caregivers/guardians regarding daily session notes, progress and session
concerns.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients and their families.
- Provide evidence-based effective parent training for caregivers and other significant persons within the client’s life.
- Providing services within the home, school and community settings while traveling to these locations per client need.
- Providing a positive, fun and safe learning environment for clients.
- Supervise RBTs and BCaBAs in accordance with BACB guidelines and experience standards
for certifications.
- Follow BACB guidelines and experience standards for supervision of RBTs and BCaBAs for certifications.
- Provide HPBS client/family satisfactory services to include clinical necessity of hours (to the best of your ability), scheduling, parent training, direct services, assessment services, school/community services, program modification services, outcome measure services.
- Provide effective, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, professional, clinical necessary, and ethical services to HPBS and HPBS clients/families.
- Preform admin duties as seen fit by the Executive Director/Owner. This may include, but is not limited to: scheduling, employee onboarding, marketing, social media outreach, trainings/workshops.
Qualification and Skills:
· Master’s degree (BCBA) or Bachelor’s degree (BCaBA) in psychology, applied behavior analysis, counseling, or a related field.
· BACB certification for BCBA and BCaBA positions and maintaining certification requirements in good active standing.
· 1 year of experience as a BCBA
· 1 year of experience in leadership
· Clean Background check
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· CPR/First aid certified (or obtain certification upon start)
· ABA knowledge of practices and methodologies.
· Effective communication skills.
· Hard-working, trustworthy, and passionate about your work and helping others.
· Resolves conflict easily and conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner.
· Open to growing professionally and continue education and development as an ABA professional and with a team-based environment.
· Works well with others, has great interpersonal skills and is collaborative with others to include team members and other professionals per client needs.
