MUST HAVE SCHEDULING MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE & BE PROFICIENT IN SAP AND P6!
The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for the effective scheduling of all maintenance work to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. This position involves close collaboration with maintenance managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to plan, schedule, and track maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance planning and scheduling, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, coordinating with maintenance managers and supervisors to prioritize work orders and allocate resources efficiently.
Analyze maintenance requests, work orders, and project specifications to estimate required labor, materials, equipment, and timelines.
Utilize maintenance management systems (SAP) to track work orders, maintenance history, and resource availability to optimize scheduling.
Collaborate with the storeroom to ensure timely availability of parts and materials required for scheduled maintenance activities.
Communicate maintenance schedules, updates, and changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
Monitor and report on maintenance activities, identifying trends, potential delays, and resource constraints, and recommend adjustments to schedules as necessary.
Participate in planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in a related field, such as Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management; or equivalent experience in maintenance scheduling/planning.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance scheduling, planning, or a related role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of maintenance processes and best practices.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple departments.
Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations.
