Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic Fulfillment Manager to lead our team in achieving exceptional operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As a Fulfillment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our fulfillment operations, ensuring smooth warehouse operations, optimizing inventory management, and enhancing pick-and-pack processes. Your expertise in implementing lean practices will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, eliminating waste, and maximizing throughput. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of 10 to 20 fulfillment professionals, including warehouse staff, inventory specialists, and pick-and-pack associates. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Lean Practices Implementation: Utilize your expertise in lean principles to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational waste. Drive initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance overall productivity.
- HR Responsibilities: Work with the HR Department on recruitment, onboarding, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and addressing employee concerns. Ensure team members are equipped with the skills and resources needed to excel in their roles.
- IT Proficiency: Leverage technology to enhance fulfillment operations. Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and accuracy.
- Warehouse Management & 3PL: Oversee relationships with external partners and ensure seamless collaboration to meet business objectives.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in managing fulfillment operations, preferably in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in implementing lean practices and driving process improvements.
- Strong HR acumen, with experience in recruitment, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- IT savvy, with proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
