The Sales Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to ensure they meet the company's sales KPIs. This role involves reviewing ISR sales leads in Pipedrive (company CRM) to close deals promptly, increasing sales pull-through for complementary products, and driving sales beyond the ISR KPIs. The position includes a broad range of responsibilities as outlined below, including completing sales forecasts and requiring travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Sales Performance:
- Support the company's sales goals through prompt, solution-based customer service while building and maintaining customer relationships focused on retention.
- Respond to customer inquiries and quote requests promptly and accurately while leveraging pull-through sales opportunities.
- Meet pre-defined monthly and quarterly sales goals, both individual and department-focused objectives.
- Complete and manage sales forecasts to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities.
Provide Internal Sales Lead Support:
- Assist lower-level ISR team members in resolving product or service problems by leveraging experience to clarify customer concerns, determine the cause of the problem, and select the best solution for expediting corrections and satisfactory customer service.
- Track, expedite, and follow-up on outstanding orders using effective sales systems, such as Pipedrive, to ensure customer satisfaction and order completion.
- Serve as the internal sales liaison with other departments, including the rep company, for quotation or order completion.
- Perform additional tasks at the request of management.
- Provide new business support by nurturing new customer relationships through growth strategy action plans aligned with overall business objectives.
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external sales representatives.
- Uphold company values and business ethics.
Travel Requirements:
- The position requires 20% travel within Southern California and potentially to other states on the East Coast.

Qualifications:
- A four-year degree preferred in sales, marketing, or related studies, or 5-7 years of inside B2B sales experience (preferably in RF and Microwave Electronics)
- Knowledge in high-frequency electronics, specifically RF and Microwave components, is desired
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Must pass an employment background check
