About Us:
The Oregon Adult Soccer Association, a dynamic non-profit organization, champions the growth and enthusiasm of adult soccer throughout Oregon. Celebrating over 40 years of service and as an affiliate of US Soccer, we connect adult players and leagues statewide. Located in vibrant SW Portland, we are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations, ensuring our mission’s success and our organization's smooth functioning.
Role Summary:
As the Office Manager, you will spearhead our office's administrative activities, handling everything from daily operational tasks to strategic planning support. This position is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in office management and a passion for making a difference in the community.
Details:
We are seeking an Administrative Office Manager with prior experience working with Excel, Outlook, and Word. (Experience with the entire MS Office Suite is a plus.)
The perfect candidate is a friendly professional who enjoys working with people, and is able to provide support and assistance throughout many aspects of our office.
Excellent communication skills, organization and attention to detail are required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and streamline day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
Manage sensitive financial tasks including daily and monthly reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Organize and maintain records, handle incoming correspondence, and manage schedules for senior management and board members.
Coordinate and assist with recruitment, onboarding of new staff and board members, and organizing staff, board members, and events.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure timely fulfillment of administrative necessities.
Develop and implement office procedures to enhance productivity.
Build and maintain relationships with board members, league directors, and potential partners.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management, ideally within a non-profit or community-oriented environment.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at database management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Superior problem-solving, critical-thinking, and systems-thinking skills.
Experience in financial management and budget oversight.
Working knowledge of Federal and Oregon employment law.
Knowledge of non-profit operations and regulations is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team and group environment, and lead administrative initiatives.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
