Billing clerk needed for a mid sized law firm in Union County NJ.
Responsibilities including but not limited to
Data entry of all time sheets
Track time for each attorney and paralegal
Keep & maintain accurate records
Send out monthly/quarterly statements
eBill clients using Ledes Codes
Reconcile and appeal client accounts
Must have knowledge on processing and submitting vendor bills for payment
Work closely with bookkeeper and office manager
Qualifications
Experience with CARET accounting program a plus
Knowledge and experience with accounting procedures
Able to pay close attention to details and to work independently
In office position with flexible schedule options
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Previous law firm billing experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
