The Marion County Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatric Prescriber (MD or NP) to provide psychiatric services for at least 16 hours per week to individuals with severe mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, able to work as a member of a talented interdisciplinary treatment team and have at least three years of experience providing psychiatric prescribing services in a similar setting. Our administrative support includes nursing services, dictation services, and consultation by our Medical Director and team of Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners.
The Prescriber will be independently contracted, reimbursed at an hourly rate, and must maintain (in good standing) the following: Oregon License, DEA Certificate, DMAP number, and own professional liability insurance. Fringe benefits are not offered to contractors.
