Job Description: Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking RN Healthcare Nurse Surveyor to assist with protecting and promoting the health and safety of residents and patients in Maryland's licensed healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for surveying patient activities, dietary, infection control, resident rights, and physical environment. The Surveyor’s role is to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for the protection of health and safety hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys
- Complete thorough investigations of complaints
- Evaluate Compliance
- Document findings and report them in a timely manner
- Follow-up visits
- Training and Education: provide guidance and education to healthcare facility staff on best practices, regulatory requirements, and ways to improve compliance and quality of care.
- Travel to multiple facilities as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- SMQT certification (preferred)
- Surveyor ID issued by CMS (required)
- 2+ years of experience as a surveyor for CMS or state survey agency required
- Maryland nursing license required
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have reliable transportation
