Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with terminal illnesses, focusing on their comfort and quality of life. Duties:
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options
- Maintain accurate medical records
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to phlebotomize patients for laboratory tests
- Experience working with children in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment for pain management
- Understanding of occupational health practices and regulations
- Ability to administer medication via inhalation
- Knowledge of assisted living facilities and services
- Experience with dermal fillers for cosmetic purposes
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in CA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
