Attention animal lovers! Our hospital is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Client Liaison to join our team. As the good will ambassador for the hospital, the Client Liaison plays a vital role in building and maintaining trust and confidence between our clients and the hospital.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Empathy towards clients and their furry friends is a must, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Please note that weekend availability is required for this position.

Duties:
- Client service (First and foremost)
- Answer telephone promptly and professionally, using excellent phone etiquette
- Keep computer records updated with current client and patient information, i.e. address, telephone number, breed, email, age, rdvm etc.
- Schedule appointments
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Understand products we offer and how they are used
- Demonstrate excellent relations with clients/pets in waiting and/or exam rooms by ensuring clients feel welcome and comfortable
- Quickly understand client needs and initiate the process of meeting those needs
- Resolve client service issues within established guidelines (using procedure and policy)
- Bring a positive attitude, a service orientation, and high energy
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion for pets and people—as well as awareness and understanding of others’ reactions.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Detail oriented
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism, with the ability to function in a demanding, multi-task environment and accurately make decisions under stress
- Proven decision making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action
- Dependable attendance required
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Requires ability to walk, bend, stand and reach continuously during work period
- Willingness to work long or irregular hours, holidays and in extreme weather conditions, under pressured conditions
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
