POSITION INFORMATION
Datalogic is currently seeking an HR Business Manager to support the Sales & Marketing organization for the Americas region. This position is a key member of the Americas HR team and will have a dual reporting relationship to the Global HR Business Partner for Sales & Marketing (based in Italy) as well the Director of HR – Americas, in order to assist the Americas Sales organization in driving business results.
ROLE MISSION
The successful candidate will work alongside Sales Leaders in implementing initiatives to help their teams improve – particularly in the areas of recruitment, performance management, development, and organizational structure. This role currently supports an employee base of approximately 150 people in sales, application engineering, field service engineering, and marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides HR expertise and consulting services to the Americas Sales management team with employees based in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Coordinates closely with the HRBP that has specific country responsibilities for Latin America (LATAM).
Through continual discovery, and in conjunction with the Global HRBP, assists Sales leadership in ensuring an effective sales force that meets sales strategies and regional revenue targets.
Analyze available information for determining effectiveness of role profiles, recruiting and hiring process, sales force organization, compensation structure.
In coordination with the Talent Acquisition Manager for the Americas, participates in the recruitment of various sales roles, staying on top of sales talent needs to keep territory vacancies to a minimum.
Participates in the development, continuous improvement, and delivery of the sales onboarding process.
Partners with sales management to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
Attends all sales management and team meetings.
Acts as liaison and a line of communication with other HR functions (e.g. compensation, benefits, payroll, talent development, etc.)
Ensures the implementation of main HR processes (performance management, succession planning, talent management, total reward, training …), supporting and coaching managers
Ensures the consistent application of all HR policies, procedures, and practices in the field; Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Conducts employee relations investigations, ensures the effective implementation of corrective actions, conducts involuntary terminations, and completes exit interviews as needed.
Supports the Americas HR team by participating in weekly meetings, sharing knowledge, completing ad hoc projects, and/or providing back up support when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
EduEducation (School/Specialization):Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. Master’s degree preferred..
Primary Language: Fluent in English; additional language skills in Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus.
Experience:
5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a corporate environment. Preferably at least 2 of those years serving one or more of the following client groups: Sales, Consulting, Professional Services or other customer-facing organization.
At least 1 year of experience recruiting professional level employees.
Ability to consult on all facets of human resources including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, change management, org development, and performance management.
Experience supporting multi-state/multi-country/multi-cultural groups as well as experience collaborating with global counterparts highly desirable.
Ability to effectively partner with and coach all levels of the Sales organization demonstrating solid judgment and influencing skills.
Strong time-management and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously.
Strong self-initiative and ability to support recommendations with sound thinking and fact-based evidence (data, research, best practices, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork, collaboration and confidentiality.
Must be flexible to work across global time zones and adaptable to changing requirements and/or ambiguous situations.
Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
