Job Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide support to the dentist and dental hygienists in delivering quality oral healthcare to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Take radiographs (x-rays)
-Pack Cord and make temporaries (this will be tested during working interview)
- Perform dental charting and documentation in electronic health record systems
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office schedule
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with sterilization standards
- Assist with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in dental receptionist systems (scheduling, billing, insurance claims)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions and restorations
- Understanding of infection control protocols and practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging, medical coding, and vital signs is a plus
Qualifications:
-DAANCE Certified (preferred but not required)
- Current certification in Dental Assisting or Radiography required and CPR certification
- Must be Bilingual you will not be considered if you are not bilingual (Spanish)
