New Ace Hardware Store, scheduled for soft opening December 18th, 2023. Looking to hire and onboard a few associates before the store's opening. Currently we will focus on unloading trucks and getting the store ready for opening. As we move closer to our opening date, we will continue to open job reqs for roles needing to be filled.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding and purchasing hardware and home improvement products
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in jewelry, technical, or electronics sales is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide technical product information to customers
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep track of stock levels
-Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
-Willing and able to be forklift trained and certified
