As a Game Master/Handyman, you'll be an integral part of creating unforgettable moments for our players.
Responsibilities:
*Guide and monitor players through their escape room experience. *Set the stage for the adventure by providing engaging customer service *Perform routine maintenance and repairs on escape room props and equipment. *Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for players. *Collaborate with the team to implement enhancements to the game rooms.

*Passion for escape room games and a keen interest in puzzles. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to think on your feet and adapt to dynamic situations. *Basic handyman skills for minor repairs and maintenance. *Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and troubleshoot technical equipment.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $22.00/hour.
About PanIQ Escape Room Chicago: PanIQ Room Chicago is currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Game Master. As a Game Master, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating an unforgettable adventure for our guests. We have two locations in Chicago (Logan Square and Fulton Market) and are seeking help at both. Responsibilities: -Greet and welcome guests, providing them with a brief overview of the escape room experience and game rules. -Monitor and guide game play, providing clues and hints to players as needed, while maintaining the excitement and immersion of the game. -Ensure the safety and well-being of players at all times, while enforcing game rules and guidelines. -Reset and prepare escape rooms for subsequent groups, including resetting props and puzzles. -Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues from guests in a professional and friendly manner. -Assist with game room maintenance, including checking and maintaining props, technology, and game components. -Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and contribute to the overall success of PanIQ Room Chicago. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds in a positive and engaging manner. -Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, software applications, and Android tablet devices. -Strong problem solving skills and ability to think quickly and creatively to provide appropriate hints and clues to players. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. -Passion for escape rooms, puzzles, and immersive experiences. -Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
