Description
This position provides project/program management support that assist in building and strengthening public health preparedness and response activities.
Requirements
- Conduct division-wide program coordination and communication in support of division change management processes.
- Provide project coordination and collaboration with operational timeline support involving input from other Centers Institute and Offices.
- Coordinate project tracking and status reporting for all branches and outside partners as needed (including guidance document updates and timeline development).
- Establish and manage a standardized project plan for PHEP Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) process, including implementation and guidance documents..
- Establish and manage standardized project plans for other programmatic areas, including technical assistance and various STLT engagement efforts (including communities of practice and training support)
- Facilitate development of division and branch level strategic plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Support development and implementation of overarching technical assistance strategy to include coordination across DSLR work units.
- Support development and implementation of a Community of Practice strategy and platform
- Advise secretaries in subordinate offices on new procedures; request information needed from the subordinate office(s) for periodic or special conferences, reports, inquiries, etc., and shifts clerical staff to accommodate workload needs.
- Support various training initiatives (STLT and internally facing), as needed
- Carry out recurring office procedures independently, and selects the guideline or reference that fits the specific case.
- Develop strategic/project plan based on the PHEP Lifecycle.
- Assist with development of various reports and products
- Support Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) development, communication, and execution methods

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Agile Project Management Experience
- Three to five years of experience in a related field
- Secret Clearance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- SharePoint experience strongly preferred.
- Work experience in an educational or training institute, highly desired
o Skills or experience relevant to the particular training division, preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meets deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively in a multicultural setting
- Ability to manipulate information in existing databases
- Familiar with or the ability to learn survey research software, databases and reference materials to collect information

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 90% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity types of machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across the office for various needs
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or ramps.
- Noise level may be loud at times.
