Who We Are
Our all-women’s campus provides a safe place to heal with a treatment team that leads our program in a serene, 36-acre campus overlooking a pond where women can connect to nature, themselves, and one another, unburdened. Located just outside of Birmingham, Alabama, our eating disorder treatment center provides care to adolescent girls (ages 12 to 17) and adult women (ages 18 and older) who struggle with feeding or eating disorders.
Dually licensed as an eating disorder center as well as a mental health treatment center, Magnolia Creek can tailor a dual diagnosis program for co-occurring mental health conditions including mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attachment disorder, dissociative disorders, and personality disorders.
Columbiana is commutable from Shelby, Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo, Alabaster, Pelham, and commute is against traffic from Birmingham area.

Position Summary
The Teen Program Administrator is responsible for the coordination of all the educational needs of the school age (12-17) clients in the Adolescent Residential Program. The primary goal is to continue the patient's home school district educational requirements in a supervised and tutored/proctored environment while obtaining eating disorder treatment at Magnolia Creek.

Position Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
-
Communicate with client’s parents regarding education needs during client’s stay at Magnolia Creek.

Coordinate educational assignments and needs with client’s school during their stay at Magnolia Creek.
-
Ensure proper releases of information are on file for any communication to coordinate educational needs.

Oversee client’s educational time ensuring they are working toward completion of educational expectations while in treatment
-
Assist clients in obtaining necessary resources for educational assignments
-
Ensure clients continue work toward completion of academic requirements in spite of their need for treatment
-
Document interactions with clients, their parents/guardians, and/or education representatives in the electronic medical record
-
Perform as the point person to ensure that all relevant information is communicated to staff regarding the teen program timely
-
Attend and participate in weekly clinical treatment team meetings for coordination of care
-
Liaison between the needs and requests of the teen program and management
-
Organize innings
-
New admit orientation for the teen program
-
Coordinate special events such as birthdays, holidays and events for the teens
-
Oversee the supplies for the teen program, ensuring supplies are stocked and classroom/group room is organized.

Coordinating the group store and magnolia money
-
Other duties as assigned

What We're Seeking
Education and Experience
Position requires a bachelor’s degree and an Alabama Teaching Certificate/License.
Other Requirements
-
Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for the last three years.
