The Global Collections Analytics team is responsible for developing and maintaining all the reports, develop strategies to reduce bad debt and losses for eBay, provide business and performance insights for the Collections leadership.
We are seeking a Manager to lead our analytics team reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Collections. If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to present complex analytical results to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner and are interested in leading a small team of analysts to build statistical models, help conducting A/B tests, and construct visualizations in tableau to support the department, this role is for you! Planning: Develop the analytics roadmap and collaborate with leaders on requirements, prioritize tasks, translate to plans, and present analysis in planning and development decisions.

Analyzing & Identifying Opportunities: Drive analysis of key problems to identify the next big opportunity to improve customer experience, product gaps and opportunities to improve cure rate.

Build positive relationships across cross functional teams like Engineering, Risk, Trust, Product and Payments.

Influence Decision Making: Apply strategic and analytics standard processes for long-term solutions, and influence leaders across the organization to achieve goals.

Defining & Monitoring Metrics: Your team will be responsible for monitoring the metrics and root cause analysis for the metric’s movement.

Being Accountable: Define business objectives for analytics team and measure progress in achieving results; demonstrate strong dedication towards goals and driving complex projects focused on reducing bad debt
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field

8+ years of work experience using analytics to address business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (Python and SQL) (or 6+ years of work experience with a Master's degree).

2+ years of experience as a people leader within a technical role.

Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and navigating through the unknowns. Strike a balance between critical thinking and hands-on analytics and data science (Working experience with SQL, Python, Tableau are a must)

Experience defining, understanding, and testing opportunities and levers to improve the strategies/policies, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations.

Willingness to work with people in different timezones (CST, PST and IST)
