Role Mandate
The primary focus of this role is to renew and upsell program members from a foundational relationship into a deeper level of engagement with IIBA by upgrading their service level. The ideal candidate will have some experience in sales, account management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Retention and Upselling:
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement strategies to increase member retention rates.
- Identify upselling opportunities within existing memberships, presenting additional value-added services or membership tiers.
- Present IIBA Programs to Level 1 Organizational Partners selling the benefits associated with the higher levels in identified prospects.
- Collaborate with the Partner Managers to support growth through renewals and upselling initiatives.
Renewal Coordination:
- Coordinate the renewal process for Level 1 organizational memberships, ensuring timely communication and seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to process renewals and updates to member accounts.
Member Engagement:
- Provide regular updates on new services, events, and resources available to members.
- Monitor number of memberships deployed to ensure membership are being utilized.
- Support Regional Partner Managers in engaging specifically identified top tier program members.
Renewal Coordination:
- Coordinate the renewal process for Level 1 organizational memberships, ensuring timely communication and seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to process renewals and updates to member accounts.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track member engagement metrics, renewal rates, and upselling performance.
- Generate reports on account activities, presenting insights to the management team.
- Utilize Fonteva/Salesforce to maintain accurate records of member interactions and sales activities.
Renewal Coordination:
- Coordinate the renewal process for Level 1 organizational memberships, ensuring timely communication and seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to process renewals and updates to member accounts.
Account Coordination:
- Act as the Global Programs & Partnerships team liaison for Level 1 organizational program member accounts.
- Partner with the Organization Program Inbox to ensure a quality member experience for our Level 1 Organizational Programs.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships within IIBA and our chapter community to provide a high-quality member experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in inside sales, account management, or customer success roles. Experience in a B2B sales roles is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with customer relationship management or association management systems including updating system records and generating system reports
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Dynamic presentation skills and the required charisma to connect with global members from a remote workspace
- Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and understand their business needs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirt
- Basic MS Excel skills
- Experienced working with a CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working with a membership and/or retetion driven organization is preferred.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a definite asset.
