H2O Solutions is a Washington based commercial diving company that specializes in underwater cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and maintenance of approximately 500 potable water storage reservoirs each year. Our clients include some of the largest utility organizations and municipalities in the country.
We also provide additional testing and services to include: leak detection, non-destructive testing (NDT), wall cleanings, fire suppression tank cleaning and inspections, cathodic protection replacement, and river intake cleaning/inspections.
DIVER/TENDER
A new diver/tender will be responsible for dive duties primarily in water tanks. Duties include safely hoisting gear and equipment to the top of a water tank to assist in the set up and break down of dive operations. Perform topside support of diving and project-related activities, including tending and daily maintenance. New divers can also expect to dive near daily performing water tank cleanings and inspections.
This position will be for surface supplied diving with a live video feed from the divers and two-way audio communications with the tender. This position also includes the detailed inspection of water tanks and new hires will be provided on the job training related to both coating and corrosion inspections.
ESSENTIAL
- Ensure diving operations are carried out safely and in compliance with any permit to work
- Physically able to perform tasks assigned
- Help ensure that the diving equipment designated for use is Suitable for the planned diving operation, and inspected prior to each dive and in good working order
- Closely follow all dive manuals, decompression tables, treatment schedules
- Continuous on the job training for the dive team on various subjects pertaining to potable water
- Prepared to work outside in the elements rain or shine
- Must be able, and willing, to travel the United State, on short notice for indefinite periods of time
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to drive and back up 16’ trailer
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Able to operate underwater cameras
- Drysuit training
- Living in or willing to locate to Washington state
REQUIRED
- Hold a commercial diving school certification of graduation including up to date certifications and dive physical
- Valid driver’s license
- In possession or willing to obtain a fully operational drysuit
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. of gear or equipment

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
