As part of our fleet servicing crew as an Overnight Automotive Mechanic, you'll perform an array of services such as preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and keeping a line of communication open between customers and internal teams. Hours are M-F overnight from 8 p.m.-4 a.m.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and potential problems.

Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.

Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and time required for completion.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.

Test and verify repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning and customer satisfaction.

Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, technical manuals, and service bulletins.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
WHAT YOU BRING:

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.

Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.

In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow specifications.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

ASE certifications are a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
