The Interventionist-Math is responsible for providing direct instruction and instructional support to students with identified deficits in mathematics.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Instruct Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting
- Deliver evidence-based intervention instruction and collect progress monitoring data with fidelity
- Perform data entry weekly of progress monitoring data
- Utilize school-based intervention curriculum platforms
- Administer and score diagnostic screening assessments
- Always ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms
- Maintain consistent communication with MTSS Specialist, classroom teachers, administrators, and parents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Classroom teaching and / or tutoring experience
- Willingness and ability to teach at various grade levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teacher Certification- Mathematics
