Now hiring for a new position and a unique opportunity to join our team! This new position is for someone who has experience in lesson planning, early childcare education, and staff management (please see all qualifications below).
This position is both in the classroom and in the office. Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30. In the morning, 8:30-12:00 approximately, will be in the classroom as the Preschool lead teacher and the rest of the day will be in the office.
Responsibilities for Education Director:
-Managing and overseeing all teachers with the Reggio Emilia curriculum
-Assisting in creating lesson plans and academic goals
-Overseeing implementation of the curriculum and educational objectives
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
Repsonsibilities for Preschool Teacher:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool students
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Implement effective classroom management techniques
- Develop and implement curriculum that promotes literacy education, math skills, and social development
Qualifications:
- Must have management experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged students
- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
-Experience lesson planning
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child welfare and development principles
- Ability to educate and engage young learners in a classroom setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and licensing requirements
