We have the first and largest HD clinical research network of over 500 active and compassionate investigators, coordinators, scientists and HD experts at over 100 HSG Credentialed Research Sites globally dedicated to seeking treatments that make a difference and improving the quality of life and outcomes for families affected by HD. In addition to this vast clinical network, we collaborate with industry, government and foundation sponsors, Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and HD advocacy and community partners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide general administrative and clinical project assistance support to Huntington Study Group Clinical Research (HSGCR) Clinical Operations Management, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, taking minutes, coordinating out of office and vacation approval calendar
2. Provide administrative support to project teams; arrange meeting logistics (e.g., polling, scheduling and hosting study team meetings, and sending meeting notifications as directed)
3. Liaise with HSG staff to support additions or changes to contact listings for trials, including trial committees, vendors, and project team members, and related email distribution lists
4. Distribute documents for signatures in digital electronic signature platform
5. Perform clinical study document review for study teams following study-specific work instructions
6. Prepare study related documents and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint slides) and general documents (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures)
7. Track study-related information in trackers and project management work collaboration tools
8. File documentation in study electronic document platform; may include study Trial Master File, employing document naming and uploading standards as required
9. Order office supplies, print checks, issue mailings
10. Assist with HSG Annual Meeting planning and implementation activities; including travel to 3-4 day off-site conference
11. While primarily a remote position, will be required to perform responsibilities onsite at the HSG office as needed
12. May perform other duties of similar scope and complexity in supporting HSGCR clinical trials and other HSG activities and initiatives
Desired Background
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a similar course of study or the equivalent work experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in office administration and/or secretarial support; experience in a clinical research setting is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and work on essential tasks as directed
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time with ease
- Attention to detail in assigned projects
- Commitment to the successful delivery on deadline driven projects
- Motivation to help a population affected by the symptoms of Huntington disease
- Able to work well on a small team
