Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team for a thoughtful Italian based concept. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create innovative menus
- Assist in managing inventory control and ordering supplies
- Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Support in training new kitchen employees
- Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by assisting in various tasks
Experience:
- Proven within a culinary or dietary department
- Pizza experience is a plus
- Respect of ingredients and attention to details a must.
- Strong background in kitchen operations, food production, and kitchen management
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures in the food industry
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to pivot and resolve situations in a respectful and calm manner is a mantra in our kitchen.
