Position Overview
The Compensation Specialist responsible for administering and maintaining various compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with relevant regulations. This role focuses on project management and program administration related to compensation, requiring strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Maintain Compensation Programs:
Administer and maintain the company's 401(k) retirement program, including enrollment, contribution tracking, and compliance.
Administer the Employee Relocation Program.
Manage and respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding compensation through ZenDesk.
Maintain employee profiles and relevant compensation data in WorkDay, including:
Base pay
Stipends
Allowances
Bonuses/Incentives
Lead Compensation related projects:
Working in conjunction with the Compensation Analyst, assist in the planning of, and lead the implementation of, new compensation programs or initiatives, including conducting needs assessments, developing project plans, and tracking progress.
Lead or participate in compensation-related projects, such as salary structure reviews, market analysis, and job leveling projects.
Act as the main point of contact for Compensation related communications:
Collaborate/Partner closely with Recruitment for internal and interdepartmental communications.
Manage interdepartmental communications and announcements related to compensation.
Collaborate with HR team members and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on compensation strategies and initiatives.
Partner with managers to provide guidance on compensation-related decisions and policies.
Manage the candidate evaluation process by providing salary recommendations based on candidate experience/education and market data.
Job Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or a related field, or 2 years of comparable HR and/or Compensation experience, required.
2 years of experience in HR or a related field, required.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, preferred.
Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

Compensation:
$30.26 - DOE
