We are currently looking for an Entry Level Administrative Assistant. This role will focus heavily on working with data and providing the administrative support needed to maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive documents and verify all shipment information entered into our software system
- Examine invoices and other shipment documents to ensure accurate and timely entry
- Verify that arrival notices are accurate and process payments for approved vendors
- Input data into an inventory tracking system and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on a computer system
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and standards
- Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
- Communicating with various departments to obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Special projects and reports per request of management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel is a MUST
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
