CLERK- CASHIER- Town of Lincoln, Rhode Island
The Town of Lincoln Finance Department is accepting applications for a full-time CLERK- CASHIER. Under the supervision of the Deputy Finance Director, the Clerk- Cashier’s duties include daily fiscal and clerical operations within the Finance Department. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to collections, trial balances, ledger postings, creating journal entries, managing and reconciling banking/checking accounts and other applicable accounting functions.
Ideal candidate: Must have experience and knowledge of financial office principles and practices; possess proficiency in managing and utilizing moderately complex fiscal records with accuracy; strong attention to detail and organization skills a plus.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent GED; 1-3 years financial administrative experience; supplemental accounting coursework or experience preferred; strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office program applications and/or bookkeeping software experience a plus.

Hourly Rate: $ 21.03 per hour/ 35-hours per week- Full Benefit package available
