The Rios Group, Inc (TRG) is looking for a Team Project Administrator to join our dynamic team of leading experts in the field of Subsurface Utility Engineering and Utility Coordination. This position reports directly to the TX Utility Coordination Manager and will support the utility coordination team across the state of Texas.
What You’ll Do
You will support the Utility Coordination team members by utilizing your excellent communication and organization skills to accomplish administrative tasks necessary to the successful completion of important Utility Coordination projects. You will perform work as an hourly, not exempt from overtime employee, and may be requested to work more than 40 hours per week in times of high demand.
While at work you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Updating the UC department project schedule on Microsoft Project software
- Assisting the UC team in overall project tracking, to include: personnel, scope, budgets and invoicing.
- Keeping UC managers informed on UC team utilization/work load.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings for UC team
- Attending stakeholder meetings with UC team member
- Preparing stakeholder meeting agendas & minutes
- Assisting the UC team in the production of status reports and other project documentation.
- Tracking and scheduling Business Development events for the UC team
- Consistently communicating in a professional manner with TRG personnel, clients, municipalities, and agencies in person, via telephone, email, and MS Teams/Zoom.
- Staying on task and moving to the next task with little oversight. This will be monitored through weekly feedback meetings.
- Reporting to work on-time.
- Safely driving a personal or company vehicle to and from business meetings, if requested.
Qualifications You’ll Need
- Education (Minimum) - HS diploma with 3-5 years related experience, including: previous work in scheduling; some College preferred.
- Expert in Microsoft Office software including, Outlook, Word & Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
