Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating complex business needs into innovative technical solutions. Your main responsibilities will include understanding the business and user motivations and needs in order to determine system solutions.
You will be responsible for delivering requirements, organizing them conscientiously, and keeping them up-to-date.
Additionally, you will work with both internal and external parties, create exceptional cross-functional documentation, and lead teams toward solutions design.
Core Responsibilities

Develop understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry
- Partner with stakeholders across departments (engineering, product, 3rd party vendors, legal, operations) to elicit requirements, understand challenges and define project scope.
- Conduct a thorough gap analysis to identify potential roadblocks and propose solutions to ensure seamless integration between business needs and technical capabilities.
- Deep dive into business and technical specifications and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and business process models.
- Document system functionality and user workflows with clarity and precision.
- Provide input and work with UI/UX designers as they develop user interfaces that adhere to business goals.
- Work closely with development teams to define acceptance criteria, and technical solutions, and ensure solutions meet user requirements.
- Conduct UAT and work with QA partners to review test plans and execution
- Maintain JIRA backlog and sprint board with accurate status, assignments and comments.
- Lead grooming sessions with Development and QA partners.
Required Skills/Abilities

8+ years in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role, eliciting requirements in complex projects.
- Experience with e-commerce, consumer facing apps and/or websites.
- Lending organizations or financial services highly desired.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum/SAFE or similar SDLC methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Process Flow software such as Visio or Lucid, and SDLC software such as JIRA or MS DevOps.
- Highly flexible and open to change. Ability to adapt quickly to new directives and projects.
- Experience with A/B testing is a plus: MixPanel, StoryBook, Amplitude.
- Experience with Figma is a plus
- Experience with integrations and customizations with 3rd party applications
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, with strong problem-solving skills
- Exhibits confidence, resourcefulness, and knowledge of industry practices when solving business problems
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation & communication skills with strong organizational & time management skills
- Highly personable and able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships across business and IT groups.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
