The Manager, Investor Relations will play a vital role in the supporting company’s short and long-term success of Investor Relations and Corporate Development functions. This individual will plan, implement, and provide management of the Investor Relations strategy including organization and development of all quarterly and annual shareholder reports, press releases, presentations, and the communication of information to the investor community.
The Manager of Investor Relations will oversee shareholder communication ensuring information provided is accurate and timely and will further be responsible for providing organizational benchmarking utilizing comparative financial and operational metrics of industry competitors. This individual will also assist in the development of key board material updates related to Investor Relations as well as key operational updates.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and provide management and oversight to the entire Investor Relations strategy including all quarterly and annual reporting, press releases, presentations and communication of information to the investing community.
- Manage relationships with analysts, investors, and media, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports, earnings releases, presentations, and other materials for investor events.
- Plans the annual meeting and meeting documents, such as the annual report and the proxy statement, in accordance with SEC regulations.
- Prepare quarterly board operational updates, coordinating with regional teams
- Monitor and analyze market trends, peer performance, investor feedback, and industry news, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and marketing teams to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and corporate policies.
- Maintain and update the investor relations website, database, and calendar.
- Provide event management including investor conferences, investor meetings and the annual meeting.
- Develop expertise pertaining to the organization's products, services, and key market segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related study. Master's Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in an investor relations or corporate development role.
- Advanced comprehension of industry practices including financial and investment markets.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and the public.
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex information to the general public.
