Job Summary
This role is responsible for the overall facilities and EHS operations, development/implementation of processes and procedures, and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce EHS processes and procedures that adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct timely EHS inspections and audits across all company facilities to identify improvement potential and implement corrective actions
- Create partnerships with local regulatory and administrative locations to institute new or existing regulations
- Investigate EHS/facility incidents, report internal and external as needed, and provide correct action solutions
- Ensure that management staffing is conducting and administering all EHS standards and trainings to the staff as required by the company and government regulations
- Collaborate with other departments and locations within the company to ensure alignment on facility and EHS policies and procedures
- Define and oversee KPI implementation across the company to ensure each site is achieving the company’s goals
Required Skills
- Work history centered around a manufacturing environment with wet processing capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability for positive change within a manufacturing environment
- Experience is using and deploying CMMS software in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
- Formal practice of Lean Six Sigma program and implementation of improvement event based on RCCA outcomes
- Project management skills for deploying, improving, and retiring processes/procedures for facilities and EHS solutions
Experience Requirements
- 5-6 years managing EHS programs
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
