The Business Process Analyst will collect business process information related to the daily operations of the business. The Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders interpreting business requirements into definable business processes and coordinate with the stakeholders to implement any process changes. The Analyst will also document and catalogue process maps for collaboration with the Business Systems Analyst for implementation into various software systems. They will additionally review existing process information and use data analytics to recommend improvement measures that will impact the company’s efficiency, ultimately resulting in reduced costs and increased revenues. The Analyst will also support the Change Manager with the training for any new business processes.
Role Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison for business stakeholders
- Provide business stakeholder process support as necessary
- Map and document work processes that support business activities including strategic business processes
- Maintain a log of completed and ongoing business processes
- Analyze root causes of business process issues and develop appropriate solutions by focusing on continuous improvement
- Support onsite training during implementation of new business processes
- Support the Change Manager and IT team with development and implementation of software associated with the business processes
